At our community garden, a heavy, kink-prone hose left wrists sore and raised worries about lead near the herb beds. We switched to a lighter rubber hose with a swivel-grip nozzle, certified lead-free fittings, and a wall reel. Watering sped up, and nobody iced their hands afterward.
